The weather has been so wonderful here lately! Fall is here, but it's not too cool or wet yet. We've had some lovely, warm days with cooler nights. I love it. We were lucky enough to have Todd with us most of this past Sunday, so we enjoyed some time outside together.
Cannon is in love with dogs these days, so we stopped off at the nearby dog park for some entertainment. It's no secret - I want a dog, and Todd does not. So Todd has taken it upon himself to brainwash our son.
Todd: "Ryder, you don't want a real dog."
Ryder: "Why not dad?"
Todd: "Dogs poop. You don't want a real dog. You want a robot dog. Robot dogs don't poop."
Ryder: "Ya. Mom, I don't want a dog. They poop. I want a robot dog."
And Ryder has reminded me of this every time we see a dog. Every. Single. Time.
Another favorite pastime of Ryder's is pointing out every "powerful" and telephone line he sees. And light posts. You can imagine our drives around town are very exciting.

Jax LOVES to give kisses, too. The only problem is that he doesn't know to close his mouth. So he always kisses with his mouth open (and sometimes his tongue hanging out). I've gotten more than I bargained for trying to kiss that kid!
I wish the weather was cooler here. I hate that it's still 95 degrees at the end of September!
