Fun in the Sun in Beautiful Carmel

Shortly before our move (10 months ago...), we made our way down to Carmel to watch another one of Austin's (my nephew) lacrosse games. Talk about an amazingly wonderful day.

Carmel is wonderfully beautiful and so very much fun... and it's even better when you spend it with people you love!

Our first stop was a return to the Dennis the Menace Park in Monterey. We (meaning Cannon) liked swinging back then. He's since lost that fondness.

We did lots of playing. This big guy doesn't smile so easily for me anymore. ;)

Then enjoyed part of the 17 mile drive on our way over to Stevenson for some good high school lacrosse.

Took lots of pictures.

Found tadpoles.

Played in the grass (Cannon didn't enjoy that so much).

Then made our way to the sand in Carmel.

The smiles didn't last too long. We didn't like sand back then either.

But others did. And they got buried.

We played frisbee. Check out that form!

Wrestled.

Some of us slept. (That's Cannon hiding from the sun under all of those sweatshirts... with Aunt Cinda.)

Played soccer.

Posed for pictures.... the group: Austin, Cordon, Cameron, Katelynne, Dave, Cinda, Cannon, Me and Ryder.

And we finished our afternoon up with some good squirrel hunting in the trees.

Much fun was had! Thanks for letting us crash the party, cousins!
