The San Francisco Treat

My dearest Sister Cathy came out this Wednesday for a visit. We decided to do the SF tourist thing and give her a sample of all the main attractions here in the area. We let her loose on Golden Gate Park, took her to the coast, Haight Ashbury, Sausalito, Fisherman's Wharf/Ghiradelli Square, Crissy field and the Golden gate bridge... not to mention our early morning encounter with the mother of all great white sharks while crab fishing off the pier in Pacifica on Saturday. I think that we were pretty entertaining considering we are an old pregnant married couple. (Jenny by the way has increased her tummy width to 37.5". Yes, and Congratulations to Jenny who is entering Week 30 of the pregnancy and has been voted most-beautiful pregnant woman alive for the 30th straight week. Put your hands together for Jenny folks!)

Jenny was able to provide some comic relief during our picnic Sunday afternoon at Crissy Field.A bird decided that he would be the first to congratulate
Jenny on the aforementioned award and dropped off a nice little gift into her lap. Oops. She handled it like a Champ though. (Champ is actually one of the names that I was pushing for for our son... Jenny won't let it get off the ground).

Life is here is still going very good. We have so much to be grateful for and so little to complain about that we feel very fortunate. Now that our brothers and sisters are out of school we are looking forward to their visits. Cathy was just here, Amy will be here this coming week, then Robyn and before you know it, Angie. Families rock. Needless to say, we are very excited and can't wait to post updates from our weekly adventures.
