Merry Christmas!

The month of December has been no different than those of the past - it's gone by way too quickly! We recently returned from a fabulous trip to Utah, where we watched the amazing Robyn Fairbanks* get her moves on and spent time with Todd's parents and sisters, Cathy and Angie. We were lucky enough to be able to stay at Grandma Diana's, and Ryder sure loved all of the attention!

*Robyn recently achieved both a personal and school game high against Montana State - 43 points in all. She's incredible!... check out the link above.

As you can see, Ryder continues to grow. He's reached two major new milestones recently -- rolling over and spitting. Isn't it great? He really is the best! He continues to adore his feet, so he can often be found playing on his blanket in the house with his pants off.... showing off his chubby thighs.

We were blessed to be able to stop by and visit with Grandma Hansen for a bit while we were in Utah. We interuppted her game of bingo, but she didn't seem to mind much. She looks very beautiful and happy! Ryder was obviously overjoyed to meet his grandma great.

And about a week prior to our trip, we finally finished decorating our tree. Here are a couple of before and after shots for your viewing pleasure. And now after our trip to Utah, the tree is packed with presents underneath its limbs. And let's be honest here -- the great majority of them are from grandma and grandpa fairbanks for our Ryderman.... lucky little guy.

Tomorrow we head to my parents' house in the lovely valley. I'm so looking forward to the Christmas lights, yummy cinamon rolls, delicious breakfast casserole, little kids running around, visiting with my sisters and mom, and introducing all of these joys of Christmas to little Ryder. This is the best time of year, isn't it?

Oh, and yes.... I chopped my hair.
